Hello,Its just a bit strange why we have not upgraded to the newest version of Invision Power Board. Suggestion About Kontera Ad Revenue Sharing
The idea of Ad revenue sharing is really a great one. I really appreciate it. No other community ever tried to share its ads profit to its members. But I think it is not working as expected. It is very very difficult to reach the minimum payout $100 and we have to wait for very long time. And also many clicks and impressions are wasted as some members are not satisfied with this and quitting from this service. Hi, I have hold myself to not start this poll for at least one month but now I am forced. I have seen a lot of duplicate topics here. Some topics are not in their relevent forums or categories. But their is no action of moving or deleting the posts or threads. We have 2 Admins and 18 Moderators here. An Idea Of Trap17 Web Application
Lately, I was thinking of creating php script for my personal use. The script --> Using xmlhttprequest for dynamic update and cURL for processing the remote page, I would get some specific data from the forums index page, like the online users on trap, dynamically. And more stuff like the latest article (dynamically), top forum credit holders (@SM-> ) and may be even log the chats, so that at the end of the day I can find something interesting in there. Shouldn't the mods add a few more to cover other topics, especially in the Life category, say include one for Sports, Media, Humor, even a Debates section where we can discuss important issues.The point here being that with more topics, users will stay longer and not be stymied by lack of things to discuss. In your profile page, underneath your personal photo there is a menu called "options". It used to always work for me but recently, clicking on it does nothing! Forums Over-burdened With Mods
There are way too many mods on these forums!What the hell is the "army system" and the "reputation"? Do they serve a purpose? Or are they just frivolous crap that's not really needed? What is the point of the RPG thing or the arcade? They are just excess baggage that the forums would be better without! On the old credit system for hosting you were able to transfer "credits" which is now, in a way, known as MyCents.I think that the option of this should still be allowed because I think that many people would utilize it.A sure common way I would utilize it is make competitions (probably weekly) in the graphics section for signatures, designs, and so on, and provide MyCents as an award. In the preview messages there should be a spellcheck. It takes more time for the longer post to go through and check for spelling errors when if we had a spellcheck we could cut that time by a fraction. I think that this would also help for some users who do not know how to spell as good. That includes me.

I found that many people are confused about the post issue, where you have to have more than 300 charecters. However, I have a better suggestion. If you made a addon called "Good Posts" and after that put the script of 300 charecters and another one saying "Total Posts" with the normal script. For example, I posted 10 normal posts and 6 GOOD posts. That way, the ranks for the forum will rise faster, yet, we still know how many posts are good. That way, I don't say n00b un

This is more for the PAID hosting server. If I were to buy hosting from Xisto (or whatever its called) I would like to know what the uptime is. I'm sure this is pretty much the number 1 priority for people looking for hosting. I saw one post had been edited because it had a huge quote and someone complained about how it was going to increse the char count for that post (and poster).Would it perhaps be a good idea to exclude quotes from the character count of a post? Ability For Non-hosted Members To Award Credits.
As I already mentioned in the other topic, OpaQue has resolved one of the two reasons I am still hosted, but he has yet to address the second. I would love it if non-hosted members are able to award credits. Now I understand why it is disabled, because they gain credits faster than hosted members, but you could put some kind of conversion tax on it so it balances out. I wouldn't mind. How about a chatroom. If opaque agrees to put a chatroom he can take the shoutboxout. Yea, sure the shoutbox can be used as a chatroom, but its slow and have to refresh it everytime. The chatroom would be a faster way to talk to the mods/admins and other people and get help really fast.I think wassie suggested this but nobody commented on that topic.

I know a lot of people will scream at me for saying this, but I think that we should remove Astahost and migrate everybody to Trap17( or vice a versa), because when I typed in "free webhosting no ads" on google it was highly confusing seeing two almost exactly the same features.
